Santos River View Terrace Duplex

Beautiful view, historical and charming property, very nicely furnished, well-equipped kitchen, short Uber to historical neighborhoods, quiet, comfortable beds, very responsive and helpful host, nice patio, great air conditioning, overall lovely!

The apartment is in a quaint location up the Santos hill, a pleasant walk down to the bus stop or quay. The kitchen is very well kitted out, a great coffee machine and everything we needed, including condiments. The bed was comfy, with good quality linen and towels. There was always plenty of hot water. There is a lovely cafe close by, which served delicious food, especially croissants.

Sadly, in the week we stayed, the surrounding building sites were all very busy and noisy. We knew there was building in the area but did not realise the extent. Some of the sites had builders there from before 8 am to past 6pm. There were workmen on the adjoining roof each day. We had to keep all the blinds shut and could not enjoy the terrace or beautiful views, which was one of the main reasons for choosing this particular apartment. We did receive a discount, but it is worth checking if it is still ongoing before you book. The stairs to the apartment are curved, which I found a little tricky to come down. We could not use one of the toilets as the seat was broken and taped up.
