About this country house rental
This charming farmhaus was built with concern for the quality of the construction renovated and furnished to provide comfort. A fully equiped kitschen and a washing machine permit you to stay even longer.
A large dining and living space with a view unto the orange and olive trees is airconditioned, as is the bedroom with a double bed. The sofa folds out to become an additional bed.
The garden has about 1 hectare of local fruit trees and plants, flowers and a small vegetable garden.
The terraces allow you to eat outside, being protected from the sun or wind.
Along side of the property, in an area protected by a fence snd bushes, there is a 9 meter long freshwater pool.

We absolutely loved at our stay at this idyllic property, it was the perfect antidote to our very hectic and hot tour of Portugal. Didn't meet Irene, but Maria who looks after the property is a delight, so kind and helpful, even turning up on our doorstep with a lovely bottle of wine!My only comment would be that an information file about the property and area would have been useful, and maybe a guest comment book so people can share their special finds, restaurants etc.I always think you can tell a place is going to be good when they have nice wine glasses and lovely crockery. Irene's place has both!!!

The property was delightful and looked out over orange groves.Such a relaxing beautiful place. Maria was very welcoming and helpful in answering all questions.
We look forward to returning in the future as we had a great holiday.

Lovely house, gardens and pool. Maria the housekeeper is wonderful and a great help.
Probably needs a few items updating (microwave, kettle, coffee maker, bbq).
Separate living area does not have a door lock so we didn't feel confident for our children to sleep in there.
Milfontes is 20 minutes drive and a great place to spend an evening, but the pool gardens and patio make a day at the house a great option.

The property photos and descriptions found on VRBO site are accurate. For families or friends seeking a comfortable retreat this property is right for you. It’s an easy 25-35 minute to highly rated beaches an less to Nova de Milafontes for dining out. We loved our visit and left with batteries charged!
