About this house rental
It is located in a very quiet area, 40 meters from Vila Nova de Milfontes Castle (São Clemente Fort), at 3 Pedro Pedro Alvares Cabral Street, and Franquia Beach is 95 meters away on foot.
It also has at the foot of the Castle, a boat that crosses the Mira River and leads to Furnas Beach from the other side of the river.
CASA BERIMBAU is in a very quiet street without traffic, but 1 minute walk from several restaurants, The Ritual, The Grocery Store, The Morais, and Paparoca.
The house is a duplex and has two bedrooms, one with double bed and another with twin beds and a bathroom upstairs. On the ground floor there is a large living room with fireplace, a pull out sofa bed, an independent kitchen and a small patio with a carport, table and chairs, an electric BBQ and an outdoor shower. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, juicer and blender. Washing machine and dishwasher
Cable TV and WIFI internet throughout the house.
Activities near the house include hiking, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding, surfing, canoeing and scuba diving.
Nearby there is also the Santa Clara Dam, the Monchique Hot Springs and the Ruta Vicentina, which is the southern part of the Camino de Santiago and the Fisherman's Trail, the cliff-top path from Sines to Cabo de Sao Vicente

Alquilé CASA BERIMBAU con otros tres amigos para disfrutar de cuatro días de surf en la Costa Alentejana y nos encantó como base. La casa está en el barrio antiguo junto al Castillo, en una calle super tranquila y donde tienes todo lo básico a 3 minutos andando.
La playa de Franquia que es la que está al lado de la casa no es para surf, pero dos del grupo que son del tipo tranquilo, se pasaron los días ahí y aprovecharon para subir por el río Mira en canoa.
La casa tiene todas las comodidades y disfrutamos cada noche de la chimenea del salón, ya que por las tardes en Enero en esta costa refresca bastante.
Los anfitriones, Taína y Juan, nos recibieron como si fuéramos amigos de toda la vida y nos dieron un montón de consejos sobre lugares interesantes, restaurantes y playas.

Juan, der Besitzer des Ferienhauses, war sehr hilfreich und offen. Wir habe diese Hilfsbereitschaft und Offenheit sehr geschaetzt. Wir wuerden sofort wieder buchen. Fuer Familien besonders zu empfehlen.
