Apartment 6 min walking from the beach with AC

Sun lit filled place, although big compound but quiet place.Grocers near by one was just across the street. That's big plus. Enjoyed beach wooden walkways. The owner serviced Airport pickup was very nice. Was very kind of him.

Although not luxury this apartment has all the basics you need for a good holiday stay. It isn't huge but has a good size balcony and is on a well kept gated complex within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the beach.

Property very dated and in need of update. Small maintenance issues also need addressing in the main bathroom with shower screen and door. Patio doors would not lock in main bedroom and windows would not lock in second bedroom. Sofas looked nice in longe area but we’re very uncomfortable to sit on for a prolonged period. Shower in second bathroom was not fit for purchase unless you were a child or a very thin adult. Property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard upon arrival. Dust on work surfaces and in draws. Crumbs on kitchen worktop and cigarette butts left in ashtray on balcony table with ash on table. It looked as though the bear minimum of cleaning had been done in bathrooms and bedrooms. Floors had not been swept or moped as covered in stains from spilt drinks. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable and the apartment was a good size other than the second bathroom. The complex was lovely, in particular the gardens and pool areas. Location was also very good and was around 6 mins walk to el zoco centre and 12 mins to the beach. Cala Honda is a great resort if you can see past the motorway that runs through the middle of it. All in all really enjoyed our stay in cala Honda. Probably wouldn’t return to this particular apartment due to the issues surrounding the cleanliness and also the size of the second bathroom
