About this house rental
Escape to Outrider Lodge, a stunning 3,172-square-foot Modern Mountain retreat tucked away on 8 private, peaceful acres in Fairplay. Sitting at an elevation of ~9,950 feet, this expansive property is the ultimate Central Colorado basecamp. Perfectly suited for families, multiple couples, or small groups, it beautifully balances secluded mountain serenity with premium, resort-style amenities.
Pet Policy:
Dogs only. Cats and other animals are not permitted. Maximum 2 dogs per stay, 80 lbs. per dog. A pet fee applies and must be paid prior to check-in. Dogs must be supervised at all times, leashed outside the fenced dog area, and are not permitted on furniture or beds. A crate, fenced dog area, and paw-cleaning station are provided. Excess pet-related cleaning is billed at the cleaner`s discretion.
Smoking:
Smoking of any substance is prohibited inside the home, in the garage, and on all covered decks and porches. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area marked by posted signage. Guests found to have smoked indoors are subject to a deep-cleaning fee.
Events and Parties:
No. The property is not available for parties, events, receptions, or gatherings of any kind. The number of people present may not exceed the maximum occupancy of 8 persons at any time.

This is a high-elevation mountain property (~9,950 ft). Bear safety is critical — never leave trash, food, or scented items outside, on decks, or in vehicles; all waste stays in the garage bin or bear-resistant container in bags at end of driveway. No campfires, charcoal grills, fire rings, or open burning at any time, regardless of county fire stage.
Professional snow removal runs November–April; do not block the entry to the driveway or interfere with plowing.
Guests are responsible for equipping vehicles for winter mountain driving.
No discharge of firearms or weapons, and no ATV/OHV use on Skid Court or any county road.
Parking is limited to the garage and gravel driveway (6 vehicles max).
An emergency evacuation plan is posted in the home.
