Private mountain getaway with huge views on 10 wooded acres! The property is nestled among mature timber, with a creek running through the backyard. Most days, you'll get to see moose :)
The main house has 3 bedrooms 3.5 baths and a loft with an office with plenty of room for a Queen sized air-mattress (provided). The garage is HEATED and there are 2 additional bedrooms - no bathroom in the garage - so we call it the bunk room.
We have 9 total beds, a Queen Floor mattress, pack & play, 3 sofas, and bedding/pillows to sleep up to 20 guests (recommend 12-16 adults).
Starlink wifi, hot tub, covered deck & patio, pool table, Bluetooth Soundsystem.
Watch the sunrise over Pike's Peak, sunset over Pennsylvania Mtn, and views of the Milky Way at night :) *Be sure to turn off house lights and you'll likely see shooting stars from the hot tub or back patio!
Other things to note: Must have AWD vehicle to access the home Nov-April, no refunds given if you get stuck. Snow Tires & chains recommended - Please familiarize yourself with Mountain Driving. The home is located on a gravel county road and we can not guarantee how often it is plowed. The driveway is plowed after 6" accumulation overnight.
Pet fee of $150 applied for up to 2 pets/stay. Additional pets must be approved.
No Parties, No Smoking, No unregistered guests - Fines apply *Events must be pre-approved and often require a 1 day insurance policy & extra cleaning fees.

This property was true to its listing. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, the host responsive and helpful and it fit our large party perfectly. We would certainly come back!

We planned our mountain wedding at this beautiful property. Kia was ver amazing and responsive. She even sent us photos of previous weddings hosted at the property. She even gave us a discounted stay beforehand for us to stay at the property to start our planning process. She was available by phone for us with all of our questions and concerns leading up to our big day. We could not have asked for a better place/ views for our wedding! We are so excited to share photos and have a special place to hopefully return to in our future. The house itself is full of charm and special touches such as dog bowls, high chairs, cribs, pack and plays that were utilized for our guests with babies.

A truly beautiful home. The location is very hard to beat. It feels remote, and offers fantastic views of the mountains, a small stream running through the property behind the house, and several moose that made regular morning and evening appearances. The amenities in the house were as advertised - we particularly liked the whole house sound system, the pool table, the automatic fireplaces, and the hot tub. The hosts were very accessible and responsive. We highly recommend visiting the Mangy Moose!
