Tidelines is a beautiful and newly renovated apartment at Torfness House, A former granary-warehouse on the edge of Burghead Harbour dating back to 1881.
On entering Tidelines, guests are welcomed into our open-plan living space with lounge area, kitchen, and dining space. The original architectural details of the traditional building have been carefully restored, with large arched windows framing the harbour views and original stone walls and wooden beams, showcasing its history and giving the apartment its unique character, thoughtfully furnished and designed with our guests in mind.
In the living area, we have a comfortable sofa and smart TV for guests to relax together, play board games, and catch up on favourite films or TV shows, with services such as Netflix available.
A favourite spot of our guests is the reading area, with comfortable armchairs facing the balcony, which opens to reveal stunning views of Burghead Harbour, Burghead Bay and the Moray Firth. You can lose time watching the fishing boats and spotting the local wildlife and seabirds.
The Kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering stays, with an electric oven, hob, coffee machine and dishwasher for your use, along with all necessary amenities for cooking during your stay. There is a washing machine available in the laundry area for guest use. Our dining table seats 4 guests, should you wish to cook a delicious meal or enjoy a takeaway, and can also double as a work space should you need it during your stay.
Tidelines features two comfortable bedrooms, accessed from the open plan living area. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and beautiful harbour views, while Bedroom 2 features 2 single beds, making the apartment perfect for families, groups or couples travelling together.
Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space for unpacking and hanging items during your stay, and feature quality mattresses for a comfortable sleep. Luxurious hotel-quality linens and soft towels are provided for all guests.
Our newly updated shower room completes the apartment, featuring a large walk in shower with rainfall shower head. Luxury toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps are provided for our guests.
The entire apartment is available for guest use, with access through a shared entry and access via a smart lock. The apartment is set across one floor, and there are steps to the apartment within the shared entrance area.
Free, on-street parking is available right outside the front door or on the streets surrounding the property.
