Our Time Capsule was dreamed up for the trip people talk about for years. Its designer brought experience from Disney resort projects to the build, and that knack for storytelling shows up in every room. Walk inside, and the first stop is a Star Wars-themed game room styled like the cockpit of a starship, with a glowing round viewport, arcade cabinets, air hockey, gaming computers, and a card table for the ones who'd rather play hand after hand. A few steps away, the Indiana Jones-inspired indoor pool sits inside stone walls carved like a lost jungle temple, lit from a skylight above, so swim time works rain or shine and long after dark. The movie room may be the favorite. Blue recliners face a big screen, and six queen-size sleeper pods are built right into the walls, sleeping 12, so movie night can end with everyone already in bed. Kids tend to claim them first. Adults tend to lose that argument. Everything happens on one level, which keeps the whole group close without anyone climbing stairs with luggage or little ones. The open living room has a deep sectional and a wall-mounted TV, and it flows straight into a kitchen with navy cabinets, a big island, and a long bar counter for breakfast or snacks between rounds. The picnic-style table can sit 12 with 3 people per bench for family dinners, and a washer and dryer help on longer stays. Eight bedrooms branch off two hallways, with a bed for nearly every kind of guest. Two rooms have king beds, and one of them adds a twin for a little one or a friend. Two more have queens, another has a double, two are set up with a pair of twin beds each, and a snug single room holds one twin. Most bedrooms have a bathroom attached, and with 8 bathrooms in all, finished in custom tile and wood, the morning routine stays easy even with a full house. One bath even has a freestanding soaking tub for a slow evening soak. Outside, a covered cabana shelters the hot tub, a gas grill sits ready for burgers, and Adirondack chairs gather on the patio. Out back, a pergola wrapped in string lights frames the fire pit, the right spot for s'mores and the day's best stories. The location is a real bonus. Wear Farm City Park is right next door, with turf ballfields that host baseball and softball tournaments, shaded playgrounds, basketball and pickleball courts, and a walking trail. Traveling teams can skip the hotel shuffle and walk to the game. The Pigeon Forge Parkway is only a few minutes away, with The Island's Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, shows, and restaurants about a mile out. Dollywood is roughly 10 minutes by car, downtown Gatlinburg is about 20, and the Sugarlands entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is close behind. Parking Details: - Enjoy 8 parking spaces in front of the home. – This is a smoke-free property. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
