The staff on duty were so kind and helpful. They were excellent guiding us through our reservation troubles and went above and beyond to help (even after business hours). The manager (or owner?) also took time away from their vacation to help us and staff secure our stay! Smooth checkin and checkout. The home was lovely. Everything we needed was provided. The home was clean and fresh. The beds were perfect! The pool and jacuzzi were a nice treat. The view was nice, especially from the pool, considering it was a campground close to the main strip. Great view of the full moon during our stay! The location was easy to find and just far enough off the main road to feel cozy. I don’t usually sleep well away from home, but this place was so comfortable that I slept great from night one!

Only one unpleasantry. I believe there is a dog kennel/daycare or property with several dogs through the woods. One night during our stay, we heard lots of barking and howling while trying to enjoy the porch/fire pit outside of our rental. We shrugged it off and continued to enjoy our stay, however, I’m sure it was more of a nuisance to the other guests that were closer to the dogs. There was one row of rentals closer to the noise than we were and I couldn’t help but wonder if they could hear it from inside their homes.

We love the location, the facilities and the cottage along the river. We have stayed twice now and will definitely be back
