The Carriage House is part of the historic Chapman House property in downtown Arcata, which includes several distinct accommodations. Be sure to see our other listings — Chapman Cottage and Chapman Suite. Each has its own character while sharing the same central location and historic setting.
Planning a wedding, reunion, retreat, or other special occasion? Chapman House welcomes inquiries about Exclusive Estate Use. Activities beyond a typical overnight stay—including gatherings, celebrations, professional or group photography, vendor access, or other similar or special uses of the property or grounds—require prior written approval under a separate Estate Use Agreement. We'd be delighted to discuss creating a customized experience.
We typically have a 3-night minimum stay. However, if you're looking for a 2-night getaway, we are a happy to accommodate where scheduling permits with a separate cleaning fee adjustment. Send us a message before booking to discuss availability!
