The Eagle’s Nest is all about the view. Set on nearly 6 private acres in Oak Harbor, this spacious Whidbey Island retreat looks across the water toward Mt. Baker, with evergreens, open lawn, and changing skies framing the scenery throughout the day.

Inside, large windows keep the water and mountain views connected to the main gathering spaces. The living room gives everyone room to settle in around the TV, while a separate sitting area creates another place to read, talk, or spread out. The full kitchen has generous cabinetry, a large island, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of workspace for cooking at home, with a casual dining area positioned beside windows overlooking the landscape. A separate dining room gives longer meals their own setting, while a dedicated office and Starlink internet make remote work or staying connected easy when needed.

The primary bedroom features a queen-size Sleep Number bed with adjustable firmness, TV, private ensuite bathroom, spacious closet, and its own small sitting area. The second bedroom also has a queen-size Sleep Number bed with adjustable firmness, while the third bedroom offers two twin beds for additional sleeping flexibility. With three bathrooms throughout the home, the setup gives families or groups extra convenience and room to spread out.

Outside is where the property really earns its name. Broad lawns roll toward the water, mature evergreens frame the grounds, and Mt. Baker rises across the horizon on clear days. Start the morning outside with coffee and the view, then fire up the propane BBQ for an easy meal in the fresh air. As evening approaches, the yard fire pit gives everyone a place to gather while the sky shifts over the water and mountains. With nearly 6 acres surrounding the home, there’s plenty of breathing room to wander, watch for wildlife, or simply stay put and enjoy how quiet the setting feels.

Whidbey Island gives you plenty of reasons to leave the property, even when the view makes that difficult. Head north toward Deception Pass for forest trails, dramatic bridges, and rocky shoreline, or spend time around Oak Harbor for waterfront walks, restaurants, and local stops. Farther south, Coupeville brings historic waterfront charm, while Fort Ebey and the island’s beaches open up more opportunities for hiking, coastal scenery, and slower afternoons near the water. Scenic backroads make the drive part of the experience, with forests, farmland, and glimpses of Puget Sound appearing along the way. - Please note that the home does not have heat during a power outage. Storms and power outages can occur, particularly during periods of severe weather.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
