Set on the back nine at Las Iguanas inside gated Cap Cana, Villa La Mar is modern Caribbean architecture at its most confident: crisp white volumes, two storeys of glass, and sightlines that run from the great room across your own pool to open fairways, still lakes and the blue Caribbean beyond.
THE SPACE
A double-height living room sits at the heart of the villa, where sliding glass panels retract completely and the interior folds into the covered terrace. The open kitchen is finished in dark cabinetry and stone. Four en-suite bedrooms are arranged for privacy, each with walk-in closet and safe, air conditioning, smart TV and floor-to-ceiling windows over the greens: kings in the principal suites, twin queens in the others. Four full bathrooms and a powder room, all stone and walk-in rain showers.
OUTSIDE
The private pool runs along a sun terrace of loungers, with the fairway behind and nothing but lawn and palms between. Dine under the pergola, fire up the grill, rinse off in the outdoor shower. The upper terrace opens to ocean views across the course, the best seat in the house at sunset.
STAFFED FOR YOUR STAY
A housekeeper lives on site in her own quarters and is there throughout your stay, keeping the house in order, taking care of laundry and lending a hand whenever you need one. It is the difference between renting a house and being properly looked after in one.

Jack Nicklaus Signature golf is on your doorstep at Las Iguanas, with Punta Espada minutes away. Juanillo Beach, powder sand and turquoise water and free for you to enjoy, is a short drive, as is Cap Cana Marina with its charters and waterfront dining.
