About this apartment rental
This is a spacious, comfortable and stylish Edwardian apartment in Walmer, a short stroll to the beach, and Deal’s award-winning high-street, with a good selection of independent shops, restaurants, pubs, theatre, plus a thriving Saturday market. Most amenities are within walking distance, meaning almost everything is on your doorstep. Also nearby are 3 fantastic golf courses, including the British Open course Royal St George's and some of the best coastal clifftop and seaside walks.
The space
A spacious ground-floor apartment located in a two-story yellow-brick building built in 1905. The building previously housed matron’s quarters for the naval hospital and Royal Marine barracks.
Apartment 100 has been lovingly transformed into a comfortable and stylish holiday apartment. To create a warm and inviting apartment for you to enjoy and relax, the artist and wood worker co-owners have incorporated unique artwork, handcrafted wooden homeware, and thoughtful design touches throughout. Perfect for a relaxing holiday experience.
This apartment has its own private front door, and free parking for up to two cars outside. There is roadside parking on neighbouring roads for extra cars.
The space / inside
Recently renovated throughout.
There is space for everyone, with three charming bedrooms sleeping up to six guests. Ideal for families and groups of friends who want their own private rooms and the chance to gather in the comfortable, characterful dining and lounge room at the heart of the apartment for meals and socialising. The well equipped kitchen is located just off the dining area meaning you can prepare meals easily while feeling connected to the centre of apartment.

All bedrooms, bathroom and lounge flow off an elegant hallway.
Lounge room with dining space
Large, with double aspect windows, curtains, two comfortable sofas, standing lamp, console table, side light, plus a selection of board games and HD television.
At the other end of the room is an open-plan dining area with solid wood table and chairs. The dining area seats four to five.
Kitchen
Well equipped with everything you need for holiday meal preparation. Fitted with an electric hob, microwave, butlers sink, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, and washing machine. Also, a kettle, toaster and cafetiere.
Bedroom One
Double bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe, side tables, side lights, chest of drawers with mirror, and curtains.
Bedroom Two
Double bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe, side tables, side lights, vanity mirror, and curtains. The room is finished with a table and chair that can be used as a dressing table or desk if you need somewhere to work during your stay.
Bedroom Three
Single bedroom with single bed, clothes storage, side table, side light, wall mirror, and curtains.
The apartment sleeps five guests. With the addition of a second single bed in this room the apartment may accommodate six, instead of only five. Perfect for younger siblings or friends sharing.
Please let us know when you make your reservation if you are a party of six and we will arrange the extra single bed in the single room for your arrival.
Bathroom
The small bathroom has WC and basin, plus a spacious walk-in shower with rain-fall head for a spa-like experience.
Accessibility
All bedrooms and other rooms are at ground floor. There is a step at the front door through which the property is accessed.
Outside space
There is no back garden, but the apartment is within a stones-throw of green-spaces, the beach, a stunning promenade, children’s play park and outside paddling pool open seasonally (weather dependent), for outdoor enjoyment for all ages.
Guest access
The whole property, EXCEPT the conservatory (off the kitchen) converted and used as artist studio. This studio is not accessible to guests.
Other things to note
Check in is normally 15.00 on the day of arrival and 10.00 on departure day. We will try to be as flexible and as helpful as possible.

The apartment will be cleaned before arrival. Linen, duvets and bath towels all provided. Beach towels are NOT provided.
Although we love dogs and cats, this apartment is a NO PETS environment due to lack of back garden, and to maintain a high cleanliness we'd expect on our own family holidays. Likewise, it is strictly NO SMOKING or vaping.

Central heating throughout the property, controlled via thermostat.
There is a washing machine and clothes drying rack. There is no tumble dryer.
For your self-catering holiday, a starter-pack of sundries are supplied (toilet roll, washing up liquid, hand soap, dishwasher and washing machine tabs), but you may wish to bring more, especially if you are staying for more than a couple of days.
Please bring your own personal toiletries (toothpaste, body wash, shampoo etc) as these are not provided.
