Renovated cabin with panoramic fjord views

Rebuilt in 2018 after a fire, this year-round insulated cabin has plenty of personality and history in its walls—and sunlight until 23:00 in the summer. The original fireplace and panoramic windows in the living room have been preserved.



Inside, you’ll find horizontal knot-free pine panelling, a large kitchen-diner with a concrete countertop, and a well-stocked library and LP collection in the sofa nook. The bedrooms are minimalist and functional, with comfortable beds. The cabin has running water, a toilet, electricity, and Wi-Fi.



The outdoor area's a natural plot with several seating areas, a hammock, a pizza oven and a ping-pong table—designed for long evenings in the sun. There's a covered dining area right next to the cabin. The property's beautifully landscaped and sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, a five-minute drive south of downtown Drøbak, offering one of Drøbak's finest views of the fjord. Drøbak's a summer town with classic wooden houses, less than an hour from Oslo. You’ll find the water park, lovely shops, restaurants and cafés in the town centre, just a five-minute drive away. Nearby beaches include Skipphelle, Torkildstranda and Elleskjær. Feel free to visit Skipperstuen, the aquarium, the library or the old cinema.
