About this house rental
You’ll wake up to the sunrise over the Oslo Fjord from this summer cabin. With panoramic views and rocky shores right below the property, the location is the cabin’s greatest asset. Just an hour’s drive from Oslo, or a ferry ride from Aker Brygge to Filtvet.
The cabin is simply furnished with standard amenities such as a flush toilet, hot water, and a new electrical system. Here you’ll find everything you need for a simple and relaxing vacation by the sea.
You can enjoy your morning coffee on the south-facing terrace, jump into the sea from the rocky shore, and take a warm outdoor shower with a view of the fjord. Dinner is grilled under the large old oak tree in the garden.
Shop for local produce at Bergsmyrene Farm, Grønsletta Farm, and Holmsbu Country Store. Explore beautiful hiking trails in the coastal landscape, visit Filtvet with Villa Malla Restaurant and its sandy beach, or take a day trip to Holmsbu with its restaurants, spa, and marina.
NOTE: You must walk down a 40-meter-long staircase to get from the parking lot to the cabin. Also note that the hot shower is located outdoors.
