About this house rental
Welcome to your North Kingston home-from-home! This charming three-bedroom Victorian semi-detached house combines plenty of period character with all the practical bits you actually need for everyday living — including fast Wi-Fi, a private garden and enough space for the family to spread out.
The Space:
Downstairs, there’s a cosy reception room with a lovely bay window and built-in storage — perfect for putting your feet up after a busy day. The modern kitchen and dining area is the heart of the house, with patio doors opening straight onto the landscaped rear garden. There’s also a downstairs WC, which is always worthy of a mention when you’ve got a house full of people!
Head upstairs and you’ll find two comfortable double bedrooms and a single bedroom, alongside a modern family bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. So whether you’re a quick-shower-before-work person or a long-soak-and-hide-from-everyone person, you’re covered.
Being a Victorian home, it comes with character — and character doesn't always mean perfectly straight walls and completely scuff-free surfaces! This is a real, lived-in home rather than a pristine show house, so you may find the odd mark or imperfection here and there. What you will find is a comfortable, welcoming and well-equipped place with everything you need for a short stay or to settle in for a few months.
Now, a little word about character. This is a Victorian house, and with Victorian charm come a few Victorian quirks! It’s a real home that has been lived in and loved, not a pristine new-build or show home. You may notice the odd scuff, mark, uneven surface or other little imperfection here and there. We think that’s part of the charm of an older property, but we like our guests to know what to expect before arriving.
Please also note that there is no parking provided with the property, so if you’re travelling by car, you’ll need to make your own parking arrangements locally. Thankfully, North Kingston has good transport connections, and Kingston town centre, the River Thames and plenty of green spaces are within easy reach.
Once your reservation is confirmed, Smarter Rent will ask for some additional guest details and for you to sign our House Rules. Then it’s simply a case of unpacking, putting the kettle on and making yourself at home.
