This beautiful property, set in an area surrounded by salt marshes, nature reserves and unspoilt beaches, is perfect for families and friends seeking a restful and private escape. It is within easy access of local amenities and Norfolk’s coastal and countryside attractions.
Thornham is a small coastal village, with the beach just 1.5 miles away, offering a peaceful setting for walks, birdwatching and enjoying the sandy shores, dunes, salt marsh and open coastal views. The village also has the popular Thornham Deli, three pubs, restaurants and a playing field with a large playground, while nearby Drove Orchards offers a range of shopping and eateries.
Further afield is Holkham Hall (13 miles), which is a great family day out with a walled garden, woodland play areas, cycling routes and the beach. For a traditional day at the seaside, take buckets and spades to Old Hunstanton, just 4.5 miles away. Alternatively, head to Pensthorpe Lake to discover the lakes, wetlands and activities for all ages or explore the house and gardens at Sandringham Royal Estate, both within 20 miles.
This delightful, light and airy property features a stylish interior that provides a warm welcome for an unforgettable stay. Although there are two levels, all the rooms are set across the ground floor, except for the king-size en-suite bedroom.
Leave your coats and outdoor gear in the handy utility/boot room and continue into the downstairs open-plan kitchen and dining area to explore this inviting social space. This light-filled area boasts a contemporary kitchen with all the appliances needed to make meal prep a breeze. There is a small breakfast bar for drinks and informal snacks. The dining area also has two easy chairs set next to patio doors that lead out to the garden, creating seamless indoor/outdoor living. The garden room is ideal for hiding away with a cuppa. If required, there is a sofa bed with access to the chic Jack and Jill shower room, which also serves the delightful downstairs twin bedroom. This level also features an attractive king-size bedroom and a stylish family bathroom.
In the evenings, gather in the cosy lounge area with a wood burner, plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Head up the open-tread wooden stairs to reach the third and final bedroom – a beautiful king-size bedroom with a chic en-suite bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath and a WC.
