With seafoam siding and deep blue shutters, Jekyll Coastline Cottage brings timeless coastal style to Jekyll Island’s oceanfront. Spend the afternoon on the beach, then walk to dinner at Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar at the Jekyll Ocean Club, 11 minutes from the house.
Inside, tall French doors and a vaulted white-plank ceiling give the great room room for great expectations. Wood and woven textures add warmth, and the open kitchen keeps whoever’s cooking part of the conversation. The living and dining spaces open onto the screened porch, so an evening together can move easily outdoors.
SLEEP IN ON JEKYLL ISLAND
Eight guests sleep in four bedrooms. The primary king bedroom and a second king bedroom are downstairs; upstairs are a third king bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds.
The primary suite feels especially serene, with a canopy bed, soft green walls and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. There’s a freestanding tub for a long soak, a spacious glass shower and a double vanity beneath gold-framed mirrors. Natural light floods in through a tall shuttered window. With four full bathrooms and an additional half bath, there’s also plenty of room for everyone to get ready for whatever Jekyll has waiting for you.
JEKYLL ISLAND OUTDOOR LIVING
Take your time over breakfast on the screened porch, or bring dinner outside and make an evening of it. Upstairs, the deck opens to a sweeping Atlantic view. Come up early for sunrise over the water, or gather for drinks as evening light sets across the Southern coast.
The beach is a short walk from the house via Seaside Retreat’s shared boardwalk. For dinner out, a bike ride or a day exploring Jekyll, these local stops are close at hand:
