About this cabin rental
Built for families and friends who want a slower pace: fire pits, starry skies, and mornings with nothing on the agenda but coffee. This 2024 A-frame sits on 2.5 wooded acres near Deep Creek Lake, 25 minutes from Wisp, and blends modern comfort with rustic charm.
For the whole crew: A bunk room made for kids (reading lights, books, and a hidden stash of Magna-Tiles, a train set, and a Bluey house), a lower-level bedroom and full bath that teens and young adults love, and a game room with ping pong, a vintage two-player Pac-Man, and a Wii next to the TV lounge. Travel crib and kids’ dishes included.
Cozy in every season: Big windows, a wood stove for snowy nights (December–March, wood provided), central AC for summer, a vintage-style Victrola with Bluetooth, a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, grill, and a fire pit. 250+ Mbps Wi-Fi and a desk make it easy to stay an extra day and work remotely.
Lake life, 5 minutes away: Sky Valley community amenities include swimming docks, a kayak launch (2 kayaks and life jackets included), a fishing pond, playground, basketball and pickleball courts, and a covered lakeside picnic area.
Nearby: Wisp skiing and tubing (25 min), Deep Creek Lake State Park beach (15 min), and Swallow Falls State Park waterfalls (25 min).
