Charming house with 15th century tower & Immersion on the farm
Welcome to the heart of the Jura! By choosing the cottage La Tour au Comté in Charency, you will put down your suitcases in an old building of character that has been completely renovated. Combining the charm of the old and modern comfort, our 150 m² house is the ideal refuge for a memorable holiday with family or friends (up to 6 travellers).
Accommodation: A unique cachet
The Medieval Tower (15th century): This is the jewel of the house! Have fun taking its period staircase to access the various living rooms and discover the sumptuous bedroom with character.
Generous living spaces:
A large, warm living room with a bar area ideal for preparing your cocktails, a large library, a table football and board games for your evenings.
Two separate lounges:
A cosy main living room to relax in and a second lounge dedicated to the TV area upstairs so that everyone can find their place.
An independent and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, raclette and fondue sets available).PGJyPg
The night area:
3 comfortable bedrooms (including 1 extra-large double bed, 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a futon bed) as well as an extra sofa bed. A free baby cot is available on request.
The practical side:
A bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet, and a functional laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer.

Our dairy farm
Owners and passionate about our land, our farm is located at the entrance to the village. Our milk is harvested for the manufacture of the famous Comté and Morbier. On request during your stay, we will be delighted to offer you a privileged visit to the farm: watch the milking, feed the cows and, depending on the season, come and bottle feed the calves! Then an aperitif tasting local products from the region. An unforgettable activity for young and old.

In the immediate vicinity of a hiking trail behind the house and/or an access to the charming path leading to the Cascade du Moulinet at the bottom of the village.
About twenty minutes from the first ski slopes and snowshoe hikes.
