About this house rental
Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful and popular place to stay. Overlooking a small park, just 5 minutes drive from the sea, top cafes and restaurants.
Shops, takeaway, pharmacy, doctor just across the road. Bus stop to the sea or into town across the road. Airport bus and train station 5 minutes down the road.
Extension/refurbishment recently completed so brand new!
Underfloor heating, A-rated insulation, new kitchen, new bathrooms, you will be renting a whole new home!
The space
The house has 4 bedrooms upstairs. This includes a large new master bedroom overlooking the peaceful back garden, a double room with single bed that extends into a queen sized bed if required, one single bedroom overlooking the park out the front and one single private bedroom to the back.
There is a new toilet room and bathroom upstairs with small bath and double headed shower with instant hot water, and a large toilet room downstairs.
Downstairs consists of a bright, open plan kitchen and living room, toilet and separate laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
The sunny south-west facing back garden has a dining area on the patio, a trampoline and a nice swinging chair to relax in.
The property is located in the popular Monkstown/ Dun Loaghaire area renowned for its cafes and restaurants for foodies.
The airport Aircoach takes you straight to Monkstown Village or the Airport 700 bus goes to nearby Dun Loaghaire train station.
The house is only 5 minutes drive from the sea and 15 minutes from the famous 40-foot and Sandycove sea swimming area.
A bus right across the road will get you there too and takes you down to the Dun Loaghaire train station.
You can walk the famous Dun Loaghaire pier or take a small ferry to the Dalkey Islands or out towards the quaint fishing village of Howth.
Or pop in to see a movie at the local cinema.
Swimming Pool and Gym- There is a public indoor swimming pool and gym just around the corner you can pop into and use as you want. It is open from 6:30am until 10PM. They also have family open swim times on the weekends.
Monkstown train station is also about 15 minutes walk away, past an array of cafes and bustling restaurants. From there you can head to popular places like Dublin city center, or shopping and eating locations like the Blackrock markets and Dalkey castle, or popular hiking areas like Bray and Greystones in Wicklow. Alternatively take the train out towards the popular fishing village of Howth and hike Howth Head.
A bus down the road takes you out to the beautiful Phoenix Park, the largest walled park in Europe, where you will find lovely gardens and the zoo. It also takes you to the famous Dundrum Shopping Centre, the largest indoor shopping center in Europe.
The house is perfectly positioned for all of this!
The house has been rented out in the past and always got great reviews. Now with it's bigger and better with its new extension and full refurbishment, we trust you will love this warm, new home and its location.
This is our family home, and we only rent it out during school holidays when we are away staying with family ourselves. As a result, we are quite choosy as to who gets to stay in our home. Only people with a number of positive past reviews will be allowed to stay. No parties please.
We remove our personal items but kids toys and books are left for children who visit to enjoy.
The house also has two separate, self-contained studio rental units located separately at the front of the building. They do not have access to the main house unless you decide to rent the studios also.
The two self-contained separate studio units at the front of the building can be rented out separately and host 1 person in one of the units and up to two people in the other.
They are perfect if you have separate friends or family visiting who wish to have their own space. Also perfect for heavy snorers :-)
The studios have their own bathroom and kitchenette.
These can be rented out separately if required. Please enquire to find out more.
