Abbey apartments

Spacious apartment with ample bed space and living space. Kitchen was very handy and location was good.

One bedroom was divided from the living space by only a curtain which wasn't very practical. The kitchen was missing some utensils which made things tricky. Was above a nightclub so a little noisy at night but to be expected for a weekend stay in the centre of Dublin!

Great stay for its people and location

The staff ! Big times helpers they have helped me arranging the room as we were celebrating my friend getting married - plus they gave us space for the luggage’s when we left after check out they were ALL amazing:)

In the building itself the stairs weren’t that clean There is not window in the toilet - which makes the toilet smelly unfortunately

A decent stay but noisy

The apartment is a great size and very clean, it’s fully equipped with everything you need or may have forgotten.

Why does it not have a TV? You can hear every single word/movement from the neighbours and the Tram’s going past every few minutes. A TV would at least drown out the noise. I ended up playing some music through my phone.

We hadn’t switched on the hot water so that meant we had none. The people showed us how to fix it but we had left by then.

Location to ha’penny bridge and heart of Temple Bar was excellent. It may be considered a rather grotty area if the city, but we found it excellent. Very safe! Great coffee shop right on the corner. Easy walk to all the downtown sites. Walk to a lot of great shops and pubs. We even walked to the Connolly train station in about 20 mins. Train to Howth. Staff who greeted us appeared to be students. Very friendly. Took us to our place. Stored our bags free of charge until we checked in.

The bed arrangement was awkward. We travelled with 2 teenage sons. One bedroom had a double and a single bed. The other single bed was in the living area. We moved the bedroom single to living room to get some privacy. Unit common areas aren’t top notch, but inside units are up to date and clean.

The location was great if you wanted to be close to the main stripe of Dublin. Terrible if you wanted to sleep at all. It's above multiple bars. Noisy till 3am. It also smelled like a giant glade air freshener. Had to open the window and air it out. Beds were passable.

Excellent location, spotlessly clean & convenient

This is such a convenient space for staying in Dublin City Centre. The place was spotlessly clean. Admittedly we just needed somewhere to rest for the night and didn't require use of the kitchen etc. but it was great to have the option. The beds were comfortable, with ample bedding pillows etc

The one issue was the heat, the apartment was very warm with no A/C. Noise pollution from outside made it difficult to leave windows open. Adding a fan to the bedrooms may alleviate this

The apartment is very clean and beautiful. Everything is just like in the photos. Delicious coffee, a comfortable bed, slippers for each person, and good-quality towels.

Unfortunately, it’s very noisy when the windows are open, as they face the main street. With the windows closed, the sound insulation is good, but it gets very hot. We recommend installing air conditioning, as this issue significantly affects the overall impression of the apartment.

Comfortable, well located appartment

The location was perfect, we walked to most places, near the river, very convenient. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet.

We were 3, I was hoping there would be a bit more privacy in between the beds/couch. Some photos show more separation, but you might get a different room that the one showed.

More than we expected!

We needed a last minute stay before we flew out from Dublin airport. I found this on Booking.com. We couldn’t believe that it was actually 3 full bedrooms, an entire stocked kitchen, dining/living area & 2 bathrooms! It was spacious, clean & stocked with amenities. If we had more time there I’m sure we would have loved to cook in the kitchen. Close walking to everything downtown Dublin. Great value for us four travelers!

The building is undergoing construction so the check in office was a few doors down. The lady was very helpful and helped us get our entry codes. The only reason I did one less star was because it was kinda loud at night. I had a fan in my room so I slept right through it, but my friends were up throughout the night. Just so you know it is on a busy street with buses, bars, restaurants & people walking.

One of the beds for four adults was a single with a poor mattress with noticeable springs…other beds double and single were fine. Three floors up with heavy suitcases when your 60’s to 70’s is no fun. Plus the physical address of the property was further down the Street from key pick up or physical address. Again not fun for seniors. Good thing is there are trams right outside your door. Bad news is you hear them all night. No air conditioning but we arrived during a heat wave and understand it’s generally much cooler Area was a bit grim, none of the three women in our Group would recommend it for women travelling alone and we have all been global solo travellers It is clean and well presented

My stay was not enjoyable!

Bedrooms & bathroom nice. Not much else.

Check-in directions were horrible. No staff to meet us, no code for entry door, incorrect address to meet staff & incorrect address of apartment. I was told to go to 60 Middle Abbey St, Dublin, however, that was a none existent place with no staff. I had to call the number given for problems several times to receive address, code for entry & code to enter apartment. It was very frustrating for a USA citizen in a foreign country.

Freshly refurbished. Great location. Good price. Having the concierge next door was great; lovely, helpful staff. Being able to leave bags was a huge win.
