Summary:
From the third floor of The Tower at La Escondida, wide sliding doors open the living room and kitchen onto a terrace with your own plunge pool and panoramic Pacific views. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo has a king suite, a second room with two single beds, Starlink Wi-Fi and 24-hour security on site. The stairs down to Playa Manzanillo are about 5 minutes on foot, and Playa Principal is about 10 minutes away. Great for couples or a small family.
The Space:
You're on the third floor of The Tower at La Escondida, high enough to hear the waves below and see the coastline stretch out in front of you.
The living room, dining area and kitchen are one open space, and the wide sliding doors open fully onto the terrace. Out there you have your private plunge pool, lounge chairs and a spot for sunset drinks. Whales and dolphins sometimes pass along the horizon.
Bedrooms: the main bedroom has a king bed, plenty of storage, air conditioning and a workspace. The second bedroom has two single beds, which works well for kids or friends.
Bathrooms: two modern full bathrooms with shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.
Kitchen: a kitchen island with seating, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and blender, plus cookware.
Comfort: air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, Starlink Wi-Fi, washer and dryer.
Guest Access:
The whole condo is yours, with its own private entrance and the plunge pool on your terrace. You can also use the two shared pools at La Escondida. There's 24-hour security on site.
The Neighborhood:
The Tower is part of La Escondida, on the clifftop in El Faro. The stairs down to Playa Manzanillo are about 5 minutes on foot, with Puerto Angelito right next to it. Both are calm, swimmable beaches. Playa Principal is about 10 minutes on foot, with the Adoquín's shops and restaurants just beyond it.
Getting Around:
A quick taxi ride gets you to Zicatela, La Punta and anywhere else in town. The airport is 10 to 15 minutes by taxi. There's free parking on the street.

Other Things to Note:
We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum. No smoking of any kind.
All guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to their stay. A secure link will be sent before arrival, and completion is necessary in order to access the property.
Please note that there are currently renovation works taking place in the apartment above. Guests may experience some construction-related noise during daytime hours, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Hurricane season notice
If your stay falls during hurricane season, please be aware that storms can cause power outages in the area. These are outside our control and can happen at short notice. We're not able to offer refunds or partial refunds for power outages or other storm-related disruptions during your stay.
If severe weather or another natural event prevents you from travelling, cancellations will follow the cancellation policy on your booking. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers weather and natural events, as any claim for costs in that situation would need to go through your insurer.
We'll always keep you updated if a storm is forecast and do everything we can to keep your stay comfortable.
