About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this lodging, where you can connect with one of El Salvador’s natural wonders: Lake Ilopango. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise, relax by the pool watching the ducks fly overhead, or take a dip in the majestic lake and hop into a kayak to explore the surroundings of one of the few active volcanic calderas in the world!
Right on the lakefront, Casa Contenta is the ideal place to spend time together.
Accommodations
The house has three bedrooms, each with air conditioning, and three full bathrooms—two of which are en suite and one in the main hallway.
The house has basic amenities such as internet and electricity, and features a private well located on the property, which supplies water to the plumbing for the bathrooms, sinks, and showers.
The house has a kitchen equipped with a stove, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as two small minibar-style refrigerators and basic kitchen utensils needed for your stay (pots, pans, skillets, spatulas, etc.).
The house has two televisions, which work with Google Chromecast and Roku
Guest Access
Access to the property is via a paved road up to the turnoff leading to the property. Beyond that, there are 2.4 kilometers of road in fair condition, of which 1.5 kilometers are unpaved but usually in good condition; however, it is recommended to arrive in a high-clearance vehicle due to the potholes present, and because the blacktop may become uneven during the rainy season. A 4x4 vehicle is not required to access the property.
The property is located on the lakeshore, so the terrain is sloped but has been terraced, with corresponding access steps leading from the parking area to the house and to the terrace and garden.
Other Notable Features
There is an air conditioner in the living room and dining room that is not currently working. However, the house is well-ventilated naturally, and there are also three ceiling fans in that area.
