About this campground/ rv resort rental
Close enough for convenience to the New England Highway but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of this splendid biodiversity acreage near Scone and Murrurundi. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the sun setting beyond the mountain range
The bed can be extended if required.
Well equipped kitchen
Shower is spacious (for a caravan)
Blackout blinds to ensure a lie in
Enjoy relaxing outside under the Moreton Bay Fig tree or swaying in the hammock
You may light a fire in the firepit if local authorities permit it (ie not on high fire risk days)
We provide fresh water for drinking plus breakfast cereal and cows milk
The local roos will visit you at dawn and dusk
We are on 400 acres and you are welcome to hike up the mountain if you choose
Nearby beauty sites are:
The Washpools where you can soak and enjoy nature
The Maid of Wingen rock formation
The Eye of the Needle at Paradise Park
Burning Mountain
Murrundi village with early stone buildings and numerous art galleries
There are no restaurants nor shops in the village of WIngen so please bring your groceries with you
If you want to eat out we can highly recommend (check opening times online):
Plants on Mayne, Kelly Street, Scone
The Kelly Street Cafe (because they support staff with disabilities)
The Cottage (Cafe by day and classic restaurant at night)
The Thoroughbred
Thaan at the Bowling Club Murrurundi
Michael Reid Art Gallery and cafe/pizzeria (licensed)
