About this house rental
Escape to our waterfront beach house directly across from Dash Point Beach in Tacoma, WA. Enjoy panoramic Puget Sound views from three spacious decks, walk to the beach, and watch for orcas, seals, and other wildlife. Sleeps up to 6 with a fully equipped kitchen, smart lock self-check-in, Wi-Fi, and beach essentials. Conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown Tacoma and 45–60 minutes from Seattle.
Beach House Rules:
Welcome! We hope you have a wonderful stay. Please help us keep our beach house in great condition by following these house rules.
Check-In & Check-Out:
* Check-in: **After 4:00 PM**
* Check-out: **By 11:00 AM**
* Please follow the checkout instructions before departing.
Occupancy:
* Maximum occupancy: 4 guests
* Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
* No parties, events, or large gatherings without prior approval.
Quiet Hours: **10:00 PM to 8:00 AM**.
Bathroom:
To help protect our plumbing and septic system, please follow these guidelines:
* Only flush the biodegradable toilet paper provided in the bathroom.
* Do not flush** wipes (even if labeled `flushable`), paper towels, feminine hygiene products, diapers, cotton swabs, dental floss, tissues, or any other toiletries down the toilet.
* Please use the waste bins provided for all non-toilet paper items.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in plumbing issues and additional cleaning or repair charges.
Laundry Room:
* In addition to cleaning the dryer filter, please empty the lint collection box located above the dryer after each use
* Use your smart lock access code to unlock the laundry room door.
* The laundry room is provided for laundry use only and is not intended for storage or other activities.
* Please ensure the laundry room door is closed and locked whenever you exit.
* If you encounter any issues with the washer or dryer, please contact us right away through Airbnb.
Pets:
* No pets allowed.
Beach Etiquette:
* Please rinse off sand using the outdoor hose at the bottom deck before entering the home.
* Do not shake sandy towels or clothing inside the house.
* Return all beach chairs and other equipment clean and to their designated area.
* Do not use bath towels for the beach. Please use the designated beach towels provided.
Caring for the Home:
* Please treat our home with the same care and respect you would your own.
* Please remove shoes at the door whenever possible to help keep sand and dirt out of the home.
* Please do not burn candles, incense, or any open flames inside the home.
* Do not move indoor furniture or decor outside.
* Please make sure you leave anything in its place as you found it.
* Report any accidental damage or maintenance concerns immediately so we can address them promptly.
Kitchen:
* Place dishes in dishwasher before checkout.
* Dispose of food properly and do not leave perishable items behind.
* Please do not pour grease or cooking oil down the sink.
* Please ensure the oven is turned off after use, and the refrigerator door is fully closed.
* Wipe up spills promptly.
Trash & Recycling:
* Place trash and recycling in the designated outdoor bins.
* Please bring outside bins to the curb once full.
* Secure garbage lids to help prevent wildlife from accessing the bins.
* The small green bin outside is for garbage the large blue bin is for trash/recycling.
Parking:
* Park only in the designated parking space directly in front of the home.
* Across the home is open parking, first come first serve.
* Do not block neighboring driveways.
* Do not park in any other areas, this is a private residential area with no street parking available.
Safety:
* Do not tamper with smoke detectors.
* This property is ADT protected, with outdoor perimeter cameras and lights.
* Please lock all doors whenever you leave the property.
* This is not an ADA accessible property.
*Fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink
* The first aid kit is located under the sink in the bathroom.
Before You Leave:
* Turn off lights, fans and TVs.
* Please ensure the oven and stove is off.
* Please bring outside trash bins to the curb for pick up.
* Turn off heat.
* Lock all doors.
* Please report any broken items, as they are inventoried.
