About this cabin rental
Perfect for a vacation alone or as a couple, but it’s also a great place to stay with a child. Of course, your dog will find a nice spot here, too! The cottage is a 35-square-meter apartment featuring a daylight-filled bathroom with a shower, a cozy sleeping area separated by a wardrobe and curtains with a king-size double bed (180x200 cm), and a large, light-filled open-concept kitchen and living area with a comfortable sofa.
The small kitchenette features a cooktop with two induction burners, a mini-oven with a broiler and microwave, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Pots, pans, and dishes are, of course, provided. You can also barbecue outside!
The living area features a cozy sofa bed (2-seater) with a sleeping surface of 160x200 cm when extended. There is also a dining table and two chairs. A 50-inch TV and Wi-Fi with 250 Mbit/s round out your stay. A travel crib and a high chair can also be provided.
Right next to the cottage is the garden, featuring a lawn for sunbathing and lounge chairs, tables for outdoor breakfast or meals, a Weber grill, and a lounge area.
As a family of passionate dog lovers, we offer two family- and dog-friendly vacation rentals in Kiedrich. Kiedrich is a wine-growing village with 4,000 residents, 13 winemakers, a dozen restaurants, shopping options, and numerous hiking trails. Everything in town is within a 5- to 10-minute walk. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking through the vineyards and woods, along the stream, and along the Rhine.
There are several public beaches along the Rhine in the area, including a dog-friendly beach in Ingelheim (8 km by ferry). The Kiedrich Stream, where children and dogs can splash around, is within walking distance. Numerous festivals, wine-tasting stands, and wine taverns invite you to linger. From here, it’s just a short drive to cities like Wiesbaden, Mainz, and Darmstadt. Eberbach Abbey, 3 km away, and several castles along the Rhine are also worth exploring.
