About this house rental
Welcome to your peaceful Bay St. Louis waterfront oasis, where the outdoor spaces truly shine. With a private dock, kayaks, fishing access, a spacious yard and an optional four-seat golf cart, this coastal retreat offers the perfect combination of relaxation, recreation and easy access to downtown.
The main home is bright and welcoming, with thoughtful coastal décor throughout. The fully stocked kitchen provides everything needed to prepare family meals, while the comfortable living spaces offer plenty of room to relax together.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. The primary suite features a queen bed, TV, private en suite bathroom and a dedicated workspace with a desk. The second bedroom includes two full-size beds and a TV, making it ideal for children, friends or additional family members.
Downstairs, a private studio with its own locked entrance offers additional space and privacy. The studio includes a kitchenette, full bathroom and TV, making it especially convenient for extended families, couples traveling together or guests who prefer separate accommodations.
The home is especially welcoming to young families, with thoughtful amenities—including a pack-and-play and infant swing—to make traveling with babies and small children easier and more comfortable.
The outdoor areas are the highlight of the property. Relax on the covered, partially screened porch with your morning coffee, gather around the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs, or enjoy a meal at the picnic table beneath the umbrellas. The large yard also includes comfortable outdoor furniture and an outdoor refrigerator/freezer for keeping food and drinks close by.
Guests can fish directly from the private dock, launch the provided kayaks or simply sit beside the water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property sits on the canal, with the Jourdan River about 8-10 minutes away by boat by way of the Wyatt Canal and the bay just beyond. A large side lot provides room for boats and boat trailers, and a public launch is nearby. Boaters should be aware that tide levels may affect clearance beneath a nearby bridge and should check current conditions before navigating beneath it. Boats with T-tops will not clear the bridge.
A four-seat golf cart is available for an additional fee, making it easy and fun to explore the area. Downtown Bay St. Louis is approximately a 10-to-12-minute golf-cart ride or a five-to-seven-minute drive via Blue Meadow Road.
