The Accommodation
GARBO — SELF-CONTAINED TWO-BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE SEA, SUNRISE AND SUNSET — UP TO 5 PEOPLE
GARBO is a peaceful and fully self-contained two-bedroom apartment, located in an independent annex within the PRIVATE AND SECURE ESTATE of WHITE HOUSE CANNES, a prestigious historic BEACHFRONT estate.
Built in 1871 and designed by one of the greatest architects of the 19th century century, the estate has long hosted, and continues to host, prominent dignitaries and internationally renowned guests.
The apartment consists of two adjacent bedrooms, named GARBO and MARLEEN, connected by an internal door. Each bedroom also has its own independent exterior entrance that opens directly onto the landscaped park. This means that guests can enter or leave either room without going through the adjoining room or disturbing anyone inside.
Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower, a dressing room, a TV, air conditioning and a window overlooking the landscaped park, with the sea in the distance. The electric shutters allow the rooms to be completely darkened for more privacy and a comfortable night's rest.
The GARBO master bedroom has a king size bed of 180 × 200 cm. It also includes a comfortable 90 × 190 cm daybed, which serves as a sofa during the day and an additional single bed at night.
The adjoining MARLEEN bedroom has a comfortable double sofa bed. When the sofa bed is closed, this second bedroom becomes a separate private living room where travelers can relax, read, or watch TV without disturbing the people sleeping in the master bedroom. Once opened, the sofa bed provides comfortable sleeping space for two additional guests.
GARBO also offers reliable high-speed Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen area with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, kitchenware, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Beds are prepared before arrival and towels are provided. For longer stays, bed linen is changed weekly, while fresh towels are available daily upon request.
Just outside GARBO, less than five meters away, in the shared LANDSCAPED PARK, travelers can enjoy two elegant round stone tables with finely crafted benches, set under a majestic eucalyptus tree and facing the sea.

Located in a slightly elevated position in the heart of the bay of Cannes, the beachfront estate enjoys a rare and uninterrupted 180-degree panorama, directly facing the Lérins Islands. There are no villas, buildings or rooftops between the property and the sea.
Throughout the estate, the rising sun illuminates the bay in the morning, while the evening brings beautiful, often glowing sunsets. After dark, the lights of the islands, illuminated boats and their reflections on the water reveal a totally different landscape, almost reminiscent of an impressionist painting.
Everyday essentials are at your fingertips, with several bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, delicatessens, dry cleaning services and restaurants all within walking distance.

Travelers receive separate keys for the GARBO and MARLEEN rooms, as well as a remote control for the estate's secure entrance gate.
A RESERVED PARKING SPACE in the private and secure domain is included with GARBO.
Travelers also have access to the estate's common facilities, including the landscaped park, swimming pool, and sunbathing area, the outdoor jacuzzi next to the pool, sauna, gym, children's playground, table tennis, billiards, table football and laundry room.
The two round stone tables and their finely crafted benches, located less than five meters from GARBO, are located in the communal landscaped park. Although they are not exclusively reserved for the apartment, their close proximity makes them particularly convenient for travelers to GARBO.
The main villa, its private interior spaces and its main Gatsby terrace are not included in the GARBO rental.

In order to preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the estate, Guests are requested to use the communal park and outdoor amenities with courtesy and consideration for other residents and neighbors.
After 10:00 p.m., conversations and use of the pool or jacuzzi must be quiet and discreet.
Parties, loud music, private events, and unregistered visitors are not permitted at GARBO or in the shared areas of the estate without the prior written permission of the host.
WHITE HOUSE CANNES occasionally hosts professionally managed private or corporate events in designated areas of the main villa and on its private terrace, which are separate from GARBO.
Most events are scheduled well in advance. GARBO remains completely private and independent; however, music or events may occasionally be heard.
In the unlikely event that a reception is arranged after a GARBO reservation has been confirmed, guests will be contacted in advance via Airbnb's messaging service. The arrangements will be clearly explained and discussed with them beforehand.
A little attention from everyone helps keep the estate peaceful, elegant and enjoyable for all.
The room keys and the remote control of the entrance gate must be returned on departure. Any loss may incur a fee equal to the actual documented cost of replacing and, if applicable, reprogramming the system.
