'The Landing' is a unique loft apartment within the historic Chairworks Recording Studio complex.
Minutes from Xscape, it offers a cosy and peaceful stay with air conditioning, smart tv, free parking and access to a spacious communal lounge and outdoor deck. Perfect for couples, solo travellers and work trips looking for something a little different.
(Not the most suitable for anyone over 6 foot or with mobility issues). Suitable for a short stay. Please read all details of the property.
The space:
The Landing is a unique split-level loft conversion designed to make the most of its space.
As you enter, you'll find a comfortable single bed, Smart TV and seating area. A small staircase leads to the cosy loft sleeping area, where the double bed is tucked into the eaves beneath a skylight. Due to the sloping ceiling and limited headroom, the loft bed is best suited to guests under 6ft (183cm) and those without mobility issues.
The private Victorian-style shower room is located directly beneath the loft bed. While the room itself is compact, guests also have access to a spacious shared lounge, dining area and outdoor deck within The Chairworks, providing plenty of additional space to relax during your stay.
Guest access:
Guests have exclusive access to The Landing, including the entire loft conversion and private shower room.
Self check-in is available via a secure key safe. Before your arrival, you'll receive your own access code along with full check-in instructions, allowing you to arrive at a time that suits you after check-in.
During your stay, you'll also have access to our spacious shared lounge, dining area and outdoor deck- perfect for relaxing, enjoying a coffee or catching up on work. Free on-site parking is included, and you're welcome to come and go as you please.
As The Landing is located within The Chairworks Recording Studio, you may occasionally see musicians, producers and other creatives passing through the shared lounge as they arrive for or leave recording sessions. While it's a working creative space, guest accommodation remains private, and many guests comment on how peaceful and quiet their stay is.
During your stay
We want you to feel at home during your stay. While self check-in means you can arrive independently, we're always available by message or phone if you need anything before, during or after your stay. We're also happy to recommend local attractions, restaurants and places to visit.
