Situated in the small attractive country town of Castle Cary you are a short 0.5 mile walk from the town centre which offers a wonderful selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. With the train station just 1.5 miles away, why not catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol, or the historic city of Bath. Visit The Newt in Somerset (2.5 miles) with its picturesque gardens, ancient woodland, restaurant and shop, or Bruton (6 miles) with its eclectic mix of shops and eateries. Other places of interest include Wells (13.5 miles), Glastonbury (16 miles) and the National Trusts Stourhead House and Gardens (15 miles).
