The Brass Squirrel

The apartment is in a fantastic central location in Portrush, right in the heart of the town and within easy walking distance of all the best spots. The view just around the back of the apartment is stunning, and there’s also parking nearby, which was a great bonus! The apartment was lovely and cosy, with high-quality bedding that made for a really comfortable stay. It had everything we needed for a short break, including thoughtful essentials such as milk, tea and coffee. The free WiFi was also excellent and really fast. The hosts were absolutely amazing — communication was brilliant, with replies almost instantly, and they were so helpful throughout our stay. They even accommodated a last-minute request for a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The little welcome basket was also such a lovely touch!

The only slight downside was that the apartment got quite warm, quite quickly, and tended to stay that way. This wasn’t a major issue, but it would have been nice to have a way to cool it down a little. We also took a wee while to figure out how to work the shower properly, so a few simple instructions might be helpful for future guests. Regardless, none of these things took away from what was otherwise a lovely stay!
