Room was relatively clean (ish), bed was comfortable. Had to upgrade to get a window with sunlight, so not sure what makes the regular deluxe rooms ‘deluxe’:) However, my upgraded room did have a big window which was appreciated. Staff were friendly. The manager was polite and accommodating. The location was good: just down the hill enough to be nice and quiet, but only a few minutes uphill from the hustle at the top.

My room was clean enough not to be dirty, but could have been better (just a suggestion). Bed sheets were clean I believe, but mine were stained. My nice big window desperately needs washing on the outside (it would make a huge difference). Some toilet paper would have been appreciated (bought my own). Soap dispenser didn’t work. Also, a kettle that actually works would be nice (mine - room 103 - is broken). However, I didn’t realise until I tried to use it on my last night, so I hadn’t complained about it. The staff were nice and friendly, I’m sure they would have got a new one, but it wasn’t a huge problem! I don’t complain over trivial things, this is just constructive feedback. I enjoyed my stay!
