Oxford, Headington, Double Room, 5 Min Walk to John Radcliffe

So much credit to the owner, kept in constant touch on the day, and when I was unable to get into the property, he immediately answered the phone and assisted me. The owner also laid on bread, jam, honey, for guests to help themselves to, along with the & coffee. The room was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect with Buses literally only a couple minutes walk away. 5 minutes walk away was a Hungry Horse, offering great value food. I would definitely book again

super super clean. Staff guy was super nice and i was pleasently suprised of the cleanliness of the house, and the rooms themselves. `if i get back to oxford i'm definetly checking in again at this place.

It was affordable, clean and well maintained

The host was friendly and polite, and I understand that he is new and was waiting for another guest. However, as a woman travelling alone, I personally didn’t feel completely comfortable in the communal area while he was on his phone or laptop waiting for another guest to arrive. Not everyone may feel comfortable with this type of check-in experience. I think self check-in could be a good option to consider in the future, as it would give guests more privacy and make the arrival experience more comfortable, particularly for women travelling alone. I understood the situation as the host is new, but I did feel uncomfortable until he left, despite him being perfectly nice.
