Sleeping Arrangements

Total occupancy: 6 guests

Total beds: 4

With two queen rooms and a bunk bed for the kids, the layout works beautifully for a family or two couples traveling together.

Bedroom 1 features a brand new queen bed with a tufted headboard, crisp white nightstands, and a large window looking straight into the Yosemite forest. An Ansel Adams print on the wall sets the tone, making this a peaceful retreat for parents or a couple.

Bedroom 2 pairs a brand new queen bed with a dark wood twin bunk bed, so the whole family can share one room. A window looks out toward the balcony and trees, and the room opens right onto the dining area, ideal for kids and the grown-ups keeping an eye on them.

Bathrooms

The full bathroom is built for busy mornings, with twin sinks, a separate toilet room, and mosaic tile accents. After a long hike, soak in the oversize jetted corner tub beneath a window filled with pine trees and blue sky, with a handheld shower for an easy rinse.

Living Areas

The living room is the heart of the home, with a large sectional sofa, an orange accent armchair, and floor to ceiling windows rising toward a vaulted wood ceiling. Gather around the stacked stone gas fireplace for movie night with the Nintendo Wii, DVD player, and a library of films in every genre, including kids' favorites. Dozens of board games and puzzles keep cozy evenings going long after dinner.

Kitchen & Dining

The well-stocked kitchen features cherry cabinets, granite counters, and stainless appliances, including a range with hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. A glass bistro table with two stools forms a coffee nook where someone can keep the cook company, and a door leads straight out to the deck. The dining table seats six in the open center of the home, right beside the gas fireplace. Children's dinnerware is on hand for little ones.

Cedar Sauna

Down on the basement level, a private cedar sauna fills the air with its warm, woody fragrance. Wide slatted benches, a wooden bucket and ladle, and a changing bench outside make it the perfect way to loosen muscles after a day of hiking, skiing, or snowshoeing.

Deck & Grill

Step out to the long wood deck with white railings for meals among the treetops. A gas grill, a picnic table with benches under a red umbrella, and extra chairs set the scene for evening barbecues and lingering conversation in the forest air.
