Inside Yosemite Mountain Beauty

We stayed as a family of 5 adults. We have stayed in Yosemite West in different properties but we all agree this was the nicest one. The property had 3 lovely bedrooms all ensuite and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped for crockery, pans, glassware etc and had sufficient options for cooking. Large lounge, excellent wifi and satellite TV (unusual for the area). Ample parking at the property. Hosts kept us informed right up to check in which was really easy. The area is perfect for being inside the park and excellent choice for groups. We would always stay in Yosemite West and would recommend this property.

Absolutely nothing! There is no central air con (not unusual for properties in the area) but this property had lots of portable fans as well as an AC unit in the living room which was a bonus. One night the entire area experienced a powercut and blackout..emergency lights were on the main landing so not entirely in pitch black! Nothing could have been changed other than maybe a couple of lanterns / torches!

While the distance from the park centre was around 30-40 minutes drive we really enjoyed being able to escape the busy crowds & return each day to a quiet, peaceful location.

The bedrooms ceiling fans didn’t work well or they didn’t have any, and the floor fans were quite noisy.

Cabin instructions were different between what was given to us online and what they have there. Also, different WiFi information in email, on info sheet there and on a plaque there. I’d update the entire thing. Mattresses were the hardest we’ve ever slept on.

De locatie was schitterend! Er was een smart-tv en een Weber-BBQ. Beide werkten prima. Het verblijf is ook erg gezellig ingericht!

Het was erg vuil: de keuken was allesbehalve proper: de oven en het gasvuur waren nog erg vuil, het aanrecht en alle kasten voelden vrij ‘vettig’ aan. De keuken is dringend aan vernieuwing toe. Verschillende kasten sluiten niet meer. Het huis in zijn geheel is verouderd: sommige stopcontacten werkten niet, de badkamerkraan bleef lekken, de zetel vertoonde ook beschadigingen (scheurtjes).
