Want to see the stars? Stargazing isn't all you will do at this tiny home that isn't so tiny! The Roost features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, and a loft. Lometa is a short 5-minute drive for restaurants, gas, and groceries. Our outside space sets us apart! Relax under the oak trees to read or take in the 180-degree views of the countryside from our hilltop. Watch livestock mill about on the horizon as you lounge the day away lazily under the trees.

Our property has been a work in progress for several years. The owners purchased the property to get out of the city and started the daunting task of cleaning up during the pandemic. They are happy to share their slice of heaven with you! This house is currently the only guest house on the property. The owner does live and work on-site. There is plenty of space for you and your friends to enjoy the outdoors without interacting with anyone. We are located about 5 minutes from Lometa, TX. We are about 20 minutes from Fiesta Winery in Bend, Wedding Oak Winery in San Saba, and several others in the area. There is also live music in Goldthwaite. These are some of the prettiest road trips in the Northern Hill Country of Texas!

This home is not shared with any other guests on the property.

This property has wifi provided by Starlink. This is a remote setting so expect bugs and watch for snakes. Guests are not allowed to cut down trees or trim bushes. Burn bans could affect campfires. The host will let you know if you are not allowed to have a fire during your stay. Pets are not allowed without prior approval. You will be charged a $1,000 fee for unauthorized pets.
