Northstar Resort is the premier ski location in Tahoe, part of the Vail community of resorts. The village is lively, fun, and full of shops and restaurants. Lake Tahoe is a short drive from Northstar, as are many mountain hiking and mountain biking trails, horse stables, and a golf course. The historic town of Truckee is also a short drive away, with adorable shops, restaurants, and bars running along a classic mainstreet that is straight from a 19th century movie set!
