About this house rental
Come experience lake life at our fun filled Great Bear lake cottage. Play on the beach, jump off the dock, or kick your feet up on the deck. This place gives lake life new meaning. Bring your own boat or use our canoe, paddle boat, or kayak.
Our cottage is close to South Haven, Paw Paw, Kalamazoo, and more. Plenty of sleeping space and a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom.
Soak up some sun in one of Southwest Michigan’s gems. Comfortably furnished for a weekend away.
The space
Our cottage has the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The sunset is perfectly viewed from the dock or deck. You can bring your own boat and check out the 150 acre all sport lake or experience great fishing in one of the deepest lakes in the area.
The cottage offers a king sized bed In the master bedroom with a closet and dresser. Two twin beds in the second bedroom with a closet and dresser. Bunk beds In the living room as well as 2 futons that fold down into a bed. The TV has access to Netflix, Hulu, prime, and Samsung TV. We also have WiFi available for work or play.
The fully stocked kitchen is waiting for you to dish up some homemade goodness or use the propane grill on the deck. We have a coffee pot, toaster oven, full fridge and freezer, and a 5 gallon water cooler/dispenser. There is a fireplace In the cottage as well as on the deck. Please be careful and open the flu.
The bathroom shower surround is oversized to give you space and there is plenty of shelving. We provide travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash every stay. There is a bathroom closet with extra toilet paper, first aid kit, and towels.

Guest access
The garage stays locked during your stay. However you do have access to the shed which has life jackets, floats, fishing reels, and yard games
Plenty of parking on the property. Easy entry access to the cottage from the road or lakeside. Situated right on the water with a private beach and dock.
Other things to note
There are grocery stores and a gas station nearby. Hit up the Bent and Dent Amish store nearby for fresh meat, dairy, and a whole aisle of candy! There is also a Dollar General within a couple minute drive with essentials.
The cafe in town offers breakfast, lunch, and Ice cream!
