Enjoy a relaxing stay in this cosy 44 m² (34 + 10 m²) kelo-log terraced apartment in West Ruka, in the peaceful Saukkolampi area of Kuusamo. Built in traditional silver-pine log, it offers a warm cabin atmosphere with a fireplace and a private electric sauna, and suits families and outdoor enthusiasts equally well. The apartment is recommended for 4 guests and sleeps a maximum of 5. Groomed cross-country ski tracks and snowmobile routes start just 200 m from the door, the nearest downhill ski lift (Kelorinne) is 2.8 km away, and Ruka Central Square is 3.1 km. Pets are warmly welcome, and the apartment is non-smoking.
The apartment is laid out across an open-plan ground floor with a sleeping alcove, plus a loft above.
Living room & Kitchen: The ground floor is a combined kitchen and living room warmed by a fireplace, with a television, CD player and radio for the evenings. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
Bedrooms & Loft: A sleeping alcove off the living area holds a 120 cm bed, and the loft above offers three further beds, giving flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 5 guests.
Bathroom & Sauna: The washroom includes an indoor toilet, a shower and a washing machine, and connects directly to your own private electric sauna. A hair dryer, vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are provided.
Outdoor area: Parking is available on site, including one electric outlet for a car heater, and there is a wood shed with firewood available for the fireplace.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
