Welcome to The Wild Side Retreat, a one-of-a-kind Louisville stay where Kentucky icons and imagination come together. Three themed bedrooms give each guest something to talk about, while the rainforest living area, private hot tub, and outdoor dining space keep the fun going beyond just bedtime.



Walk to neighborhood favorites or make the short drive to Churchill Downs and many other top Louisville attractions nearby. Easy access from the airport plus plenty of free parking on property.



The Space:

Beautiful murals, unexpected characters, vibrant colors, and playful themes turn the Wild Side Retreat into an experience of its own, with something new waiting around each corner.



The first floor features the rainforest-inspired living room, fully equipped kitchen with island seating, two private bedrooms, and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Upstairs, the Kentucky bourbon-inspired master suite offers a king bed, Smart TV, and private ensuite bath. Outside, the fenced patio is ready for long evenings with a private hot tub, firepit, grill, outdoor dining, and lounge seating.

Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the home, fenced patio, hot tub, firepit, grill, outdoor dining area, and lounge space. Parking is easy, with a parking lot immediately to the left of the house and plenty of space for guests.



The Neighborhood:

The Wild Side Retreat sits in Schnitzelburg, one of Louisville’s most character-filled neighborhoods, known for local bars, breweries, casual restaurants, and longtime neighborhood favorites. Germantown is right next door, with Monnik Beer Co., Check’s, Hauck’s Corner, The Post, and more within an easy walk. Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Expo Center, Downtown, NuLu, and Louisville’s bourbon attractions are all just minutes away.



Getting Around:

Schnitzelburg and nearby Germantown are easy to explore on foot, with restaurants, breweries, bars, and neighborhood favorites within walking distance. Guest parking is available in the lot immediately to the left of the house, and rideshare is convenient for Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Expo Center, SDF Airport, Downtown, NuLu, and attractions across Louisville.
