Fiskebon – Traditional Fisherman’s Cottage by the Baltic Sea in Figeholm
Welcome to Fiskebon, a small traditional fisherman’s cottage in the charming coastal village of Figeholm on Sweden’s Baltic coast. Located by a peaceful Baltic Sea inlet, the cottage combines authentic Swedish character with modern comfort. If you want to enjoy life by the water, explore a small Swedish coastal village and still have all the comforts of a beautifully renovated holiday home, Fiskebon is a wonderful place to stay.
The approximately 60 m² holiday home has been completely renovated and modernised while carefully preserving its traditional character. It is ideal for two to three guests – perfect for couples, a small family or a holiday for two with a dog.
The cosy bedroom features a comfortable 180 × 200 cm double bed. An additional sleeping option is available in the living room, where a 150 × 200 cm sofa bed provides space for another guest. A fireplace creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere on cooler evenings and makes Fiskebon a lovely retreat beyond the summer months as well.
There is deliberately no television in the cottage. Instead, the focus is on spending time together, enjoying the surroundings and slowing down. Internet access is available, so you can still stay connected when needed.
The attractive and well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for convenient self-catering. A cosy dining area is perfect for breakfast or relaxed evening meals. The modern bathroom features a shower and a washer-dryer, which is especially practical for longer stays.
One of the highlights is the beautifully maintained garden. The property is fenced and designed to be secure for dogs, making it ideal for guests travelling with their four-legged companion. From the garden, you can enjoy views towards the sea inlet and spend relaxing hours outdoors.
