The Banvaktstuga anno 1905 is a lovingly renovated former railway cottage located in Fliseryd, Småland. The house was regularly modernised and today offers a cosy retreat with authentic Swedish charm, a covered veranda, wooden interiors and a quiet, natural setting. Perfect for couples, small families and anyone seeking tranquillity and a true Småland atmosphere.
The cottage sits on a 1,800 square metre natural plot with mature trees. The former railway line is barely visible today, creating a peaceful, secluded environment. Behind the house flows the Emån – here a calm section of the river, shaped by a small weir, giving the surroundings a serene, almost fairytale-like atmosphere. A rowing boat at the private jetty invites you to enjoy short, relaxing trips on the water.

The house offers approximately 75 square metres of living space for up to four guests. The ground floor includes the living and dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The converted attic serves as a spacious sleeping area.
