Chalet Caro - beautiful modern luxury close to Meribel Centre

Chalet Caro is a stylish contemporary chalet for eight guests, ideally positioned within an eight-minute walk of the centre of Méribel and within easy reach of the resort’s ski lifts and slopes. Completed in 2017, the chalet combines modern design, great quality, chic furnishings and fittings and up to date "tech" with the warm timber finishes of a traditional Alpine home.

Arranged over three spacious floors, Chalet Caro features four comfortable bedrooms, each of which can be configured with twin beds or a king-size double. Every bedroom has its own en-suite facilities, with three shower rooms and one bathroom.

The chalet’s main entrance is located on the upper floor at road level. A welcoming hallway with a vaulted ceiling leads into the impressive sitting and cinema room, where large windows frame beautiful mountain views. Generous L-shaped sofas, a log-burning fireplace and a home cinema system with a large projector screen and sound system create an inviting place to unwind after a day on the slopes.

Also on this floor are a dedicated ski and boot room with heated boot and glove warmers, a guest WC and direct access to the garage.

An elegant staircase descends to the chalet’s main living and entertaining space on the middle floor. At its heart is a sleek Bulthaup designer kitchen overlooking a large dining table, also with a seating area and TV - so the cooks need never be isolated!

Two sets of floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open onto a south-facing terrace with a private hot tub. From here, guests can admire views across Méribel, the surrounding mountains and the slopes beyond while listening to the sound of the stream that runs nearby. A cosy seating and coffee area provides an additional place to relax.

The middle floor also includes a utility room with washer-dryer and the first of the chalet’s four bedrooms. This twin or king-size room has a small private balcony and an en-suite shower room with twin basins, a walk-in shower and WC.

The remaining three bedrooms are situated on the lower floor. One twin or king-size bedroom features a luxurious freestanding bath as well as loo and washbasin with access to the garden, the other two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, with one enjoying direct access to the garden.

Chalet Caro is an excellent base from which to explore Méribel and the wider Three Valleys ski area. Méribel’s principal lifts are approximately three minutes away by bus or car (with the bus stop a stone's throw away). The excellent Spar supermarket and a specialist cheese shop is just a 2 minute walk away. And for those with the energy, the resort's best nightclub is not far away either!
