Summer on the Lake

When the weather's warm, the lake becomes your living room. You'll have access to a private dock for swimming, sunbathing, and taking in the view, along with paddle boards, kayaks, and a pedal boat ready whenever you want to get out on the water. Clear Lake is fully stocked, so cast a line right from the dock or take the peddle boat out and see what's biting. Yard games are set up for lazy afternoons, and the fire pit is the perfect spot to gather to watch the sunset.

Winter at the Lake

Washington winters bring a different kind of magic here, mist rolling off the water, evergreens dusted with frost, and quiet mornings made for slow coffee and a good book. The trails nearby are peaceful and much less busy this time of year, and the house settles into its coziest self, making it the perfect spot for a low-key winter getaway.

Year-round, the property is surrounded by mature trees and thoughtful landscaping, so even though you're just minutes from town, the whole place feels like your own private nature retreat, full of birdsong in summer and quiet stillness in winter.

Eatonville — A charming small town just 10 minutes away, perfect for grabbing coffee, browsing local shops, or having dinner out, any time of year.

Mt. Rainier National Park — Just 30 minutes to the entrance, offering unforgettable trails and viewpoints for guests with an hour or a full day to spare.

Little Mashel Falls — A stunning, easy hike right up the street with multiple waterfalls along the trail, especially beautiful in the cooler months.

Northwest Trek — Just minutes from the house, a wildlife park where you can walk among free-roaming elk, bison, and other native species in their natural habitat. (October through January, Northwest Trek also hosts the giant Dambo Troll sculptures, a fun bonus if you're visiting during those months!)
