About this cottage rental
Set in a pretty valley that leads down to Caswell Bay Beach (500 metres), this delightful holiday escape is perfect for couples or families who want to get away from it all, relax and unwind. It’s located on a traditional chalet park surrounded by glorious woodland, giving it a delightfully peaceful atmosphere. The wonderful beach is popular with families and surfers alike, and has refreshments, toilets and seasonal lifeguard cover. For shopping or eating out, the popular coastal village of Mumbles is just 1.5 miles away. Don’t miss its unique Welsh/Italian ice-cream parlours! Explore the wider Gower Peninsula, full of sweeping beaches, incredible views and historic sites. Rhosili Beach – one of the best in the world – is a must, just 15.5 miles away. For a change of pace, in Swansea (6 miles) you can discover an array of museums and galleries, explore the shops or visit the waterpark.
Enter the single-storey chalet straight into the open-plan living space, which is full of light thanks to its glazed frontage. Soft seating provides a comfortable space to unwind with a book, some music or perhaps the TV. A dining table for four sits by the window, offering lovely woodland views. At the far end of the room is a kitchen, equipped with everything you’ll need to create simple meals, snacks and picnics. When you’re ready for a restorative night’s sleep, the two charming bedrooms share a modern shower room.
At the front of the chalet is a small seating area with garden furniture, ideal for enjoying the fresh air with a morning coffee or a sundowner. You have private parking for one car, making arrivals, departures and day trips easy.
