About this cottage rental
This house sits within a coastal development 250 metres from Watergate Bay Beach on the North Cornwall coast, with views stretching across the bay and out to the Atlantic. Well suited to families, couples, and surf enthusiasts, it provides a base for active beach holidays and relaxed coastal breaks. 2 miles of sand draw surfers, watersports enthusiasts, and beachgoers throughout the year – lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and kite surfing are all available on the beach. The coast path runs past the bay, connecting to Newquay's seven bays in one direction and Mawgan Porth in the other, with clifftop scenery along the way. Exposed to Atlantic swell, Watergate Bay is an excellent spot for watersports and has long been popular with families, dogs, and thrill seekers alike. Music festivals and surf competitions run throughout the year, keeping the atmosphere along the shoreline lively and energetic.
This split-level home has its open-plan living area on the first floor, making the most of views over the bay and out to sea. The full-width first-floor balcony stretches across the front of the property, with a table, chairs, and sun loungers set against views over Watergate Bay. The balcony is accessed via internal stairs. Both bedrooms open onto a ground-floor patio area. A storeroom with wetsuit rack and an outdoor surf shower sit at ground level. Two electric vehicle charge points are available in the car park, shared with other guests in the development. Designated parking is provided for one car.
