About this cottage rental

Escape to this beautifully renovated country cottage in the peaceful village of Easington. Sleeping four guests, it combines original character with modern comfort, featuring a cosy wood burner, luxurious freestanding bath, enclosed garden and private parking. Perfectly positioned between the historic fishing village of Staithes (1.5 miles) and the Victorian seaside town of Saltburn (7 miles), it's an ideal base for exploring the dramatic Yorkshire coastline and the North York Moors National Park. There are moorland landscapes, Dark Sky Reserves and breathtaking beaches to experience within 5 miles. Explore the historic fishing village of Staithes with its narrow, cobbled streets and pretty harbour or pick up the popular Cleveland Way clifftop trail. Saltburn retains a sense of its spa-resort heritage boasting fine sandy beaches, pretty ornamental gardens, and tempting tea rooms. Stroll along the pier or enjoy a walk along the elevated promenade to admire the glorious views of the bay. Discover the North York Moors (1 mile), with must-visit Captain Cook’s Monument and Mallyan Spout Waterfall less than 20 miles away.

Enter this splendid cottage, retaining plenty of character in exposed wooden ceiling beams, while also offering contemporary comfort for an unforgettable stay. The lovely sitting room offers plenty of comfortable seating, including a recliner for some end-of-day relaxed indulgence, and a Smart TV. For the cooler months, a brick fireplace houses a wood burner, so you can pop in a log for a crackling, cosy ambience. Head through to the attractive and stylish kitchen where you’ll find all the appliances you need to whip up a tasty brunch or a hearty evening dinner. Gather in the inviting dining room where you can linger over delicious dinners and plan your next day’s activities. The dining room features easy chairs, making this a lovely spot for relaxed after-dinner socialising. Take the stairs to the first floor, where you’ll discover two fresh and comfortable bedrooms where you can drift off to sleep and wake up to the charming country views. Choose between a double and a twin bedroom, both with ample storage. An exquisite bathroom with a stand-alone cast-iron bath and a separate shower completes the interior features of this beautiful property.

Head outside to enjoy the pretty outdoor areas where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a relaxing drink on the patio. There is also a BBQ, making this the ideal spot for dining alfresco in fine weather. There are steps from the back door to the garden. Private parking is available for two cars.
