Seaview Cottage is perfectly located near Staithes on the Yorkshire coast for exploring the stunning coastal villages and towns, and relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches.. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite: Bath With Shower Attachment, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating (underfloor on first floor and kitchen), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Welcome pack.. Small enclosed courtyard with decked area, terrace and garden furniture. 1 large dog or 2 small dogs welcome. Private parking for 1 medium sized car. No smoking. Please note: Access to Seaview Cottage is by a right of way footpath around The Forge (ref UK2552).. These stone cottages are accessed by a rough track and have been beautifully refurbished in 2018 with underfloor heating and wood burners, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring either the North York Moors National Park or the wonderful Yorkshire coastline.
Seaview Cottage has fantastic views down towards the coast, the fishing village of Staithes and the North York Moors National Park. The ground floor consists of a modern open plan kitchen/dining/living area on the ground floor with a wood burner and a set of patio doors that open onto a wonderful, partly decked garden with stunning views down towards the sea and the village of Staithes. The first floor bedroom is next to the family shower room and a double room is on the second floor with en-suite facilities. Both bedrooms benefit from fantastic sea views.Grinkle is just 3 miles from the fishing village of Staithes with its quaint shops and has strong links to Captain Cook and his maritime history, traditional pubs serving home cooked food and a beach.
The famous Cleveland Way twists and turns along the coastline dropping down into some wonderful bays and coves such as Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay and there are plenty of cycle routes across the area and a cycle hire shop in nearby Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The bustling town of Whitby is a short drive away with its myriad of shops, pubs and restaurants. Famous for its abbey and links to Bram Stoker’s Dracula there are plenty of things to see and do in the town and regular events and festivals throughout the year. The North York Moors are nothing short of spectacular and well worth a visit with many National Heritage Sites, walking routes and villages to enjoy. Beach 4 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Lovely cottage great views cottage had everything you needed downside to cottage sodas so uncomfortable and it says there was wifi but couldn't find password for wifi

Excellent cottage, very comfortable and wonderful views. Great for exploring the area. Only slight issue was the pot-holed road to the property which meant that we had to park a little distance from the property. This was because recent heavy rain had washed away some parts of the track. It wasn't a problem for us as we are all fit and mobile (and wouldn't be a problem if we had a 4x4). Overall, a very good stay, would definitely recommend for those who want to escape to the country within a short drive to beautiful beaches.

Our second visit to Seaview says it all. A super quiet location, very well equipped and cosy cottage. We have also been to the adjacent cottage, The forge on a number of occasions but doesn’t have the views of Seaview but is equally a good choice. Be aware of the farm track access to both properties which can be very rough at times and limited parking but this hasn’t stopped us returning on numerous occasions. Ideal for visits to Saltburn, Whitby, Scarborough and the North York Moors.
