A stylish retreat in the North Norfolk countryside, this contemporary cottage blends sleek design with solar and wind power to ensure your stay is comfortable. Set within a family-friendly holiday complex, it’s perfect for guests with young children looking to relax on beautiful beaches and reconnect with nature. Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles), known for its golden sands and colourful beach huts, is a great spot to build sandcastles and paddle in the sea, while the Norfolk Coast Path also passes through the town, offering peaceful walks and picnic spots. At Blakeney National Nature Reserve, 15 miles away, you can take a boat trip to see the famous seal colony lounging on the sandbanks. For a fun-filled day out, head to dinosaur theme park ROARR! (19 miles), where lifelike animatronics, themed trails and interactive shows deliver hours of entertainment.
Step inside the single-level barn to find a spacious open-plan living area flooded with natural light from the glazed wall and overhead skylights. Underfloor heating keeps it toasty during the colder months. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up tasty treats for your gang and includes a Nespresso machine for those who enjoy a morning pick-me-up. The central dining table is a focal point for family meals or playing games from the selection provided. In the lounge area, two large sofas are arranged around a Smart TV, with views through the patio doors, which can all be opened to extend the living space onto the terrace. Three comfortable bedrooms provide restful spaces to unwind. The largest features a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and Smart TV, plus access to the terrace through a patio door and two zip and links perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements. A smart family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC slots in nicely between the two smaller rooms, while a boot room provides storage for muddy gear after countryside adventures.
Outside, a fenced sun terrace has garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining in the warmer months, along with a hot tub for soaking your cares away while watching the sun go down. The terrace leads onto a fenced paddock with play equipment and space for children to run around safely while you enjoy a glass of wine. Private parking is available outside the barn, and you’ll also have access to the on-site tennis courts, heated indoor pool and games room.
